River Flow

I woke this morning hearing myself say in my fading dream:

“I am trying to flow with the river.”

And in return, I heard or, rather, felt the reply:

“How can you try to flow with the river? It is impossible. The river simply flows and either you are flowing with it or you are not. In flowing with rivers, there is only letting go.”

I came fully awake with the feeling of holding onto a log but longing to glide along with the sinuous, alive river and the tenuous beginnings of letting go with one hand.

  2. Kerry, as always, you have brought such gentle and profound inspiration with such a subtly powerful message; and, especially coming in the tail end of a dream, that is so wonderful and so perfectly true.

In letting go of all that holds us back, and remembering that we don't have to struggle and try hard, but simply are able to go with the flow of our own being, we find that the river carries us far more smoothly to the freedom of our own sea.

It takes courage to let go of that log, and to trust that our inner being will let the river carry us forward; and a body that is light and free does flow more swiftly and easily, and the river of our own being will always bring us to freedom, happiness and safety.

As always, thanks for bringing your bright and gentle magic into the world. Yet again, you've waved that enchanting wand of your beautiful inspiration and shared a message that's so very special, and so very true.

Thanks, as always, for your marvellous and inspirational insights :)

    Ian :)
